Who we are
Leadership
Eric D. Vega
Eric D. Vega is the founder and CEO of Laguna Events LLC, a Puerto Rican production company specializing in the design of cultural, corporate, and educational experiences. He grew up in an environment where music was part of everyday life, and his father was his first role model, in both business and the arts.
His background brings together art and business. He studied jazz and Caribbean music, with a concentration in guitar, at the Conservatorio de Música de Puerto Rico, and music business production and management at Columbia Centro Universitario. He has 25 years of business experience, 7 years as a professional musician, and 4 as a producer. As an Associate Producer in local television, working alongside Argentine producer Carlos Saco, he developed the discipline of creating entertainment concepts that are profitable and sustainable over the long term.
With Laguna Events, he turned a goal he had held since his youth into reality: coordinating and producing high-caliber events in Puerto Rico. Drawing on the study of the island’s history through art and music, he has created entertainment concepts that celebrate Puerto Rican culture and showcase the excellence of local talent. He regards Puerto Rico as one of the world’s most important incubators of talent, which is why his proposals bring together artists from every discipline in a model where strategy and creativity generate value for brands, institutions, and audiences alike.
His leadership is defined by purposeful planning and a focus on results. Every company that places its trust in Laguna Events receives a service grounded in trust, creativity, and innovation, with experiences designed to exceed its audience’s expectations. For Eric, Puerto Rico is Caribbean history expressed through color, art, music, dance, and hospitality.
